Villa Gioia offers unique accommodation in Zakynthos, combining traditional Greek design with comfort and authentic island charm. The villa is decorated with attention to detail and classic furnishings, folk art objects and embroideries. The combination of wood and stone exudes an intimate atmosphere that makes it a real home away from home. Spend your time to the fairy garden or head to the lovely beaches. The house consists of a large living room, a dining area, 2 bedrooms (one master bedroom with a king size double bed & one standard bedroom with two single beds), a bathroom, a wc and a fully equipped kitchen.
Villa Gioia is located in a really picturesque and friendly neighborhood. Just a short walk from the house (150m away), you will find the local mini market, the pharmacy, the bakery, the police station, a local grill restaurant and a tobacco store. Discover the small road just outside the villa that drives you to Alykes beach and experience the rural life of village people. Goats, mules , chickens , cows, horses and birds will make a different walking experience! Recharge yourself.

Villa Gioia is located in Katastari, Zakynthos, offering guests a peaceful stay close to Alykes and Alykanas beaches. We welcome all our guests with a bottle of local wine and show them how every appliance works. We provide local maps and tourist guides and we make suggestions of the best places to visit in Zakynthos island depending on your preferences! While staying at our private villa, we will be anytime available and more than happy to answer to any questions you may have about your accomodation.
Katastari is the largest village of Zakynthos located 17km north west of Zakynthos Town, sitting in the hills above the resorts of Alykes (2km away) and Alykanas (3Km away). It is a picturesque settlement surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It is built amphitheatrically aside the main road offering a fantastic view to the sea. The village preserves its traditional character and natural beauty. Alykes beach is one of the cleanest beaches (blue flagged) of the island mostly preferred for children and families.
